Vamsi Krishna Boyanagari

Mr. Vamsi Krishna Boyanagari is a young public health researcher working in the field of education and health Financing. He did his master’s in public health from the Manipal University with epidemiology as a specialisation and He did his second Master’s from the University of Southampton, UK on Global ageing and policy. He worked with the government of Andhra Pradesh as the state program officer for PMJAY in Andhrapradesh. He is a recipient of the internationally reputed scholarships like UK’s CommonWealth Scholarship and Belgium’s DGD scholarship. He has led projects on Universal Health Coverage in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Chattisgarh and Odisha. He also teaches Health economics and financing for MPH students at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences(RGUHS).  He designs and manages several e-learning programs related to public health and research. He is the course coordinator for an online e-learning program on Health financing being offered by the Institute of Public Health Bengaluru. He has publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

He is currently working  as the Assistant Director (Education) and the Co-lead of a cluster on Health financing and Universal Health Coverage at the Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru.
